Special Issue – Cancer Causes & Control
Supporting State, Tribe, and Territory Comprehensive Cancer Control (CCC) efforts has been a priority for C-Change since our earliest days. Through the National Partnership for CCC and our complementary efforts, great strides have been made in creating plans, building skills and resources, and implementing plans to achieve measurable changes in communities across the country.
C-Change members and staff leaders contributed to a new special issue of the journal Cancer Causes and Control (Volume 21, Number 12, December 2010), released in December, as a follow up to the special issue published in the journal in October 2005. This special issue includes an editorial and 10 articles written by national, state, tribal, territory, and Pacific Island Jurisdiction experts in comprehensive cancer control (CCC). The topics include progress and implementation of CCC plans, public policy issues, and perspectives on the future of CCC.
For a limited time a link to the articles is available for free at SpringerLink: Cancer Causes and Control.
C-Change would like to acknowledge the leadership of Leslie Given, Strategic Health Concepts, who served voluntarily as guest editor for this issue.
